... 'Yes we can' !...
Am bored and dazed.. but never amazed,
you spring surprises.. unnerve disrupt...
you think "its" wasted... a dumbfound man,
.............................................................................
I lived I died.. i imagined I survived,
I hailed, prevailed... enhanced,curtailed...
I whispered faith... to a similar man..
........................................................................
We live we die.. we imagine we survive,
we hail, prevail.. enhance curtail..
we take wounds we know they'll heal...
we plunder defeats, we whisk ordeal..
we fly in hope .. spread wings in a span,
we know we believe that "yes we can !"

Breakthrough!
Ever since life got me wrong.. I have rediscovered what it meant to stay numb and be least bothered. Seventy years down the lane when i will be safely flowing along the breeze with my organs turned to ashes.. am sure it will be a different world, my comment however remains limited as i have no clue if life will still exist.
I do understand that global warming and enviornmental pollution are great stuffs to talk about, great issues to be addressed. Innumerable hours have been spent to understand the long drawn implications of the constant puff of smoke that our cars are letting out, to understand glaciers and what could happen if they decide to melt and even to understand to an extent socialite enviornmentalists, who in their whites discuss nature ,especially infront of the public eye.
It also sometimes make me wonder why on earth do i get least perturbed about my enviornment, why do i switch channels the moment there are those preachy ads showing disgust and contempt towards men like me ( i believe there are many) and why am i attracted to remain un noticed and un biased towards anything and everything that can save our planet? Why cant i "think green" or may be even help people "save the world". A little introspection and hence this piece of internet pollution....
"Saving the world" perhaps is best suited for americans wherein they derive similar pleasure as an average indian would get out of natural masturbation. I live in Bangalore , i am happy with life whatever little it gives me. I even spare some bucks for charity to the supposedly destitude children who beg for money in the Sony World signal in Koramangala. Sometimes these children look pained ,hungry and helpless and in between those long minutes of waiting for the lights to turn green ,I actually thank God that i was born with a shelter above my head and that i was able to go to school and that i was educated enough to believe global warming is dangerous..Yes ofcourse i want to save the world but maybe do something for these children as well...
DONT CUT TREES..fine agreed its a heinous crime. tell me onething then.. where will people live now? We are evolved species or so we are told and that definitely rules out living in jungles. Just one more question that bothers me.. how many of us actually refuse a real estate on the basis of number of trees that were cut to create them? Further it absolutely beats me ;the fact that so many of us "connect" to nature by making a small kitchen garden on the roof tops and contribute our best to this naturist jingoism.
The solution remains obscure. However wether we accept it or not.. we are actually doing nothing to substantiate the macro actionables suggested by those stupid tv ads. Lets face it and may be you would agree too that a common man has just so many things to worry than to prevent a tree getting cut at the side of the road on his way to office. I know i sound offensive but then may be this is my confession and can be yours too that there are certain things which are inevitable and are solved only with priorities. Lets leave the americans with planet saving missions... most of the Indians are busy saving themselves...including me.
